COME WORSHIP WITH US!

Friday 7 PM | Sunday 10 AM | Sunday 7 PM

HAVE YOU FELT THE CALL TO BE BAPTIZED?

We are excited to invite you to our Water Baptism Service at Grace Cathedral, where you can publicly declare your faith and commitment to Jesus Christ.

Whether you are newly saved or have walked with the Lord for a while, baptism is a holy and powerful step of obedience. It is a testimony to the world that the old life is gone, and you now live unto God.

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (2 Corinthians 5:17)

Don’t miss this sacred opportunity.

Come and be baptized in the name of the Lord!

 WATER BAPTISM

AN OUTWARD DEMONSTRATION OF AN INWARD CHANGE

Water baptism is a profound and beautiful testimony of a Christian's faith. It symbolizes that you have died with Christ on the cross, your sins have been buried, and you have been resurrected to be a new creature in Christ, now walking with Him in newness of life. This sacred act is an outward demonstration of an inward change that has taken place through faith. When you accept Jesus Christ into your life, asking Him to forgive you of all your sins through His shed blood, and receive Him as your personal Savior, you experience the transformative power of being "born again." As Jesus said in John 3:3, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Before taking this important step of baptism, it is essential to repent and find salvation. This means turning away from your past sins and turning toward God, embracing the new life He offers.

Read more on Water Baptism in Matthew 3:11-17 and Acts 8:36-39.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR WATER BAPTISM

 WHERE TO GO

Everyone who wishes to be baptized in water, and everyone who is coming to watch the baptismal service, please gather in the main church auditorium and be in your seats by 1:55 PM. The ministers will instruct you at that time where to go.

We don't baptize infants.

 WHAT TO WEAR

Come dressed in the clothes you are being baptized in.

MEN: wear short sleeved shirt and trousers that you can’t see through when wet.

WOMEN: wear thick slacks or a dress that you can’t see through when wet. If you wear a dress, wear a thick slip, and bring a couple safety pins to pin the bottom. Also, if you wear a loose-fitting top, be sure to pin it down so it doesn’t float up in water.

Please dress modestly. Refrain from wearing shorts.

 WHAT TO BRING

Everyone bring your own towel, plastic bag, and dry clothes to change into. There are private changing booths available as soon as you come out of the water.
