Grace Cathedral is working with the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank to bring meals to our local community this Thanksgiving.

2024 Thanksgiving Food Drive: Let’s Aim Higher!

This year, we are aiming to make an even bigger impact. Every donation, whether it’s food or monetary, will help us feed even more families in our community.

NEEDED ITEMS

The Super Six most needed items

Boxed Cereal

Peanut Butter

Canned Tuna

Canned Vegetables

Canned Beef Stew

Canned Soup

 

Other Greatly Needed Items

• Canned Vegetables (beans, green beans, carrots, potatoes, tomatoes, and tomato products)

• Canned Meats (tuna, salmon, Spam, ham, chicken)

• Canned Meals (stew, chili)

• Canned Fruit (applesauce, peaches, pears, pineapple)

• Condiments and Dressings

• Dried Pasta, Rice, and Beans

• Canned Soups

• Cleaning Supplies (laundry supplies, household cleaners)

• Paper Products (paper towels, facial tissue, bathroom tissue)

• Personal Care Items (deodorant, shampoo, bath soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, hair care products)

 

Please do not include previously opened items or glass bottles/jars in your food drive donation.

Our History

At Grace Cathedral, we are committed to serving our community, especially during the holiday season. Through the generosity of our congregation, we have been able to provide thousands of meals to families in need over the past few years.

 

Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me (Matthew 25:40).

2023 Food Drive

Thank you to everyone who donated to our Thanksgiving Food Drive in support of the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank. You helped provide 15,621 meals last year. Because of your donations, many families in our community had a great Thanksgiving.

2022 Food Drive

In 2022, Grace Cathedral partnered with the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank to bring 13,604 meals to our local community for Thanksgiving, thanks to your generous donations.

2021 Food Drive

Thank you to everyone who donated to our Thanksgiving Food Drive for 2021. With your help, we provided 9,860 meals to local families through the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank.
