2024 Fall Family Fun

Fall is even better when we celebrate together! 🍂🍁 A huge thank you to everyone who came out to our 2024 Fall Family Fun Day – it was an amazing time filled with laughter, games, and family fun! We loved seeing everyone enjoying the festivities and making special memories.

Our Grace Kids - Saftey Visit

Our Grace Kids enjoyed a visit from the Springfield Police Department, where they learning about safety and had a blast asking questions. It was truly a memorable experience! Big thanks to the Springfield Police Department and Police Captain Moore for visiting our Sunday School!👮‍♂️🙏

2024 Labor Day Church Picnic

What an incredible time of fellowship and fun at our indoor church picnic! 🥳🍽️ The laughter, the delicious food, and the sense of community made it a day to remember. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this event so special. We can't wait until next time!

Stuff the Bus

We have an exciting update to share about our school supply drive. Thanks to your incredible love and support, we successfully filled 1,000 book bags for students in the Akron area! A huge thank you to everyone who donated and volunteered—your generosity has made a real difference in the lives of these students. We couldn’t have done it without you!

We were blessed to have 38 believers baptized at Grace Cathedral! All the Glory be to God! ✝

Water baptism is a powerful testimony of faith, symbolizing being dead to sin and raised to a new life in Jesus Christ. Let it be a reminder of God's redeeming love and grace.

Summer Bible Blast

In the summer many people grab a good book and head to the beach. This summer, we picked up the Good Book and learned how to go a little deeper with Jesus. It was an unforgettable journey as we explored the depths and wonders of the Bible.

Easter: The Story of Salvation

Easter - The Story of Salvation" is a play presented by Our Grace Kids that depicts the events that took place during Holy Week with Jesus and His disciples. It also gives a view of what happens on and off stage with three willing and one reluctant "stagehand." Something wonderful happens to the prodigal stagehand’s heart as the play progresses.

2024 Easter Baskets for Our Grace Kids

Rev. Chris made a special visit to the Sunday School, where he was able to share some encouraging thoughts and help deliver Easter baskets to the children.

Good Friday Holy Communion

On Good Friday, we had a special Holy Communion service as we gathered together from all around the world to honor Jesus' sacrifice on Calvary.

2024 Easter Egg Hunt

15,000 Candy Filled Eggs—all in the name of making Easter-filled memories.

We had over 1,000 people come out to our Easter Egg Hunt. Thank you to all our volunteers and Raising Canes for your support. It helped make the event a success.

2023 North Pole Sunday School

There were so many smiling faces at our North Pole Sunday School. Santa, Mrs. Claus, and all the elves enjoyed spending time with the kids. The children heard a Christmas Story read by Santa's Elves, made fun crafts, played games, and enjoyed a pancake breakfast.

Almost Midnight on Christmas Eve

"Almost Midnight on Christmas Eve" is a Christmas play performed on stage by Our Grace Kids.

While sharing memories over milk and cookies, dad and his son Brian discuss the meaning of Christmas Eve, the birth of Jesus and how He is coming again soon.

2023 Thanksgiving Food Drive

Thank you to everyone who donated to our Thanksgiving food drive to support the Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank.

You helped provide 15,621 meals this year. Because of your donations, many families in our community will have a great Thanksgiving.

Not long at all! Thank you so much to all who came out to our Easter Egg Hunt at Grace Cathedral and thank you to all our volunteers who helped make it such a success. It was an Egg-citing time!

2023 Valentine's Day with Our Grace Kids.

❤️ Rev. Steve made a special visit to the Sunday School this Valentine's Weekend, where he was able to share with Our Grace Kids an update on how their "Little Bible Mission Program" is reaching children around the world with the gospel. They also recieved a stuff animal.

2022 Christmas Angel Tree

Thank you to everyone who helped us share the love of Jesus with kids in our community this Christmas. Because of your donations, we could bless 48 children and their guardians in our community. There were gifts, cookie decorating, games, a Christmas story and a pizza party with Santa and his elves. 🎁

2022 Thanksgiving Food Drive

Grace Cathedral partnered with the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank to bring 13,604 meals to our local community this Thanksgiving thanks to your generous donations.

2022 Backpack Giveaway

🎒📚 The supplies you generously donated have blessed 750 families in our community! This year, we had a goal to collect 500 book bags, and because of all your help, we surpassed our goal and collected 750 book bags full of supplies. We were able to deliver them to three schools in the Akron area. East CLC received 250 book bags. Leggett Elementry received 288 book bags. And Pfeiffer Elementry received 212 book bags, enough for every student in their school. We pray that they all have a great school year! Thank you to all who donated and volunteered to make it possible.

2022 Labor Day Weekend Outdoor Sunday School

Our Grace Kids enjoyed a fun-filled weekend in Outdoor Sunday School. They played games, made crafts, and had a movie night, with every night teaching them more about Jesus. They also learned "The Roll is Called Up Yonder Medley," which they will perform with Angel's Grace Cathedral Choir.

2021 Christmas Angel Tree

🎄👼🏼Every Christmas there are children who do not receive gifts because their families are struggling and cannot afford the expense. The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program ensures that these children have a wonderful holiday season with their families. This year we had an Angel Tree in our lobby and with your generous support, we helped 60 children have a Merry Christmas.

2021 Thanksgiving Sunday School Bake Sale

The Grace Cathedral Sunday School's Thanksgiving Bake Sale was a great success. Thanks to everyone who supported Our Grace Kids! Even though the weather was chilly, you showed up to help our Sunday School afford needed supplies.

2021 Thanksgiving Food Drive

Thank you to everyone who donated food or money to our Thanksgiving Food Drive. With your help, we provided 9,860 meals to local families through the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank.

2021 Jubilee Choir Bake Sale

Our youth choir held a bake sale to help raise funds for new robes. We can't wait to see them!

2021 Water Baptism

Labor Day weekend 37 people were baptized in water. They were declaring that they have received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and were raised up to a new life in Him.

2021 Backpack Giveaway

Our members and local businesses generously donated school supplies for elementary school and high school students. We distributed 249 backpacks to local schools for students with the supplies they needed to learn this year. The backpacks included crayons, glue, pencils, notebooks, rulers, hand sanitizer, and many other items.

2021 Outdoor Sunday School

During the warm summer days, the Sunday School took the opportunity to hold class outside on the front lawn of the church. They enjoy songs, lessons, games, and snacks. Bring your children for a fun experience while they learn important Bible lessons.

The MIddle Cross

The youth performed a play for Easter on our live stream. This play tells the story of Jesus' crucifixion from the perspective of Barabbas' son.

2020 Food Giveaway

With our food give-aways, we were able to partner with the USDA Farmers to Families program. The food giveaways were at both our Cuyahoga Falls and Akron locations. Local police and fire departments helped with the distribution.
